A Week Of Leather: Sessions with BJ and Luke George are coming!

Eagle Leather & Down An’ Dirty present ‘Eagle Sessions’ for A Week of Leather and Fetish at The Laird.

Now in its seventh year, Sessions will once again see The Lairds’ Back Bar area converted into an intimate space worthy of a kinky master class.

You can do one or both sessions but be sure to get in early – these events generally sell out. Joining BJ this year is Luke George aka Charlesincharge (Fantastic Party, Alliance) for Session 2.

The guys from Down An’ Dirty will be on hand to answer any questions relating to safer kink and BDSM play including bondage, fisting, electro-play and more. Also on hand will be GP George Forgan-Smith to tackle any medical and safety concerns.

100% of funds raised from both sessions will be donated to TRANSGENDER VICTORIA and RAINBOW RAILROAD..

Wednesday 11th August. Doors open 30 minutes prior to Session start time.

SESSION 1 - A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO WAX PLAY WITH SADO BJ

6 pm - 8 pm
Wednesday 11th August
@The Laird - $10pp

What is wax play?

Wax play is a form of temperature play used in BDSM and if done right with the right wax, can be safe and extremely fun! Many beginners and newbies look at the wax pouring onto skin during BDSM play and immediately think of skin burns and extreme pain; however with a knowledgeable and experienced top with the right equipment, this shouldn’t be the case.

Having said this, in the hands of the inexperienced, things can very easily go wrong and what began as a quick trip to your local supermarket to grab some candles for a last minute wax play session, can end the evening with a trip to your local hospital!

In this class, BJ will run through the various forms of wax, how to select the right variations and how to apply them to your willing victims. BJ will also be once again assisted by Dr George Forgan-Smith from The Healthy Bear who will be on hand to answer any of your tricky medical related questions.

BJ is an accomplished BDSM top with a full time passion for everything that is BDSM and fetish. Through his career at Eagle Leather, he has focused on education and established himself as one of the main presenters at Eagle Leather's workshops and seminars for over 15 years.

His cool and calm presentation style has won him many fans, as well as coveted awards such as "Australia's Best Sex Educator" and “Australia’s Best BDSM Master” at the Eros Shine Awards.

Booking: This seminar/workshop is limited to 25 people, bookings are required. Upon ticket purchase, your name will be added to the list of attendees and marked off on the night. You must bring proof of ticket purchase on the night. This class will run for approximately 1.5-2 hours.

Dress Code: Wear whatever you feel comfortable in – trackie dacks, jocks or geared up.

Cloak: Free DIY cloak facilities are provided.

All proceeds will be donated to Transgender Victoria and Rainbow Railroad.

SESSION 2 - BOUND TO PLAY: ROPE BONDAGE 101 WITH LUKE GEORGE

8:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Wednesday 11th August
@The Laird - $10pp

An introductory rope bondage class for beginners and anyone who wants to learn, practice and play. In this workshop, Luke will teach some foundation principles and techniques of rope bondage. You’ll learn a few simple ties to get you started on your rope journey, focusing on safety and communication whilst building sensation, trust and the dynamic connection between Rigger (Dom) and bunny (sub).

Rope is a sensitive and dynamic material. It can act like a conductor between bodies where energy, pleasure and power is exchanged between the Rigger and bunny. An aesthetic art form and a form of play - when we involve rope, we work with different types of touch. Discover what works for you; sensual and tactile; firm and restrictive; rough and intense. In this workshop, participants will work in pairs. Come with a partner to rope with, or meet one at the workshop. No previous experience required. Rope provided.

Luke George (aka Charlesincharge ) is an artist, performer, ropeworker and kinkster. Based in Narrm (Melbourne), his work takes him across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America where he performs, installs, teaches and ties (The Eagle NYC, The Laird, Fantastic: The Party, TROUGHX, BARBA, Gaytimes). Luke is passionate about sex positivity and how kink can unshackle us from shame. With a particular focus on queer people and same-sex attracted men, Luke creates safe environments for consenting adults to explore touch and dynamic intimacy based on a foundation of mutual respect. Luke believes that exploring intimacy with ourselves and with each other, is a radical and necessary action in the world today and that pleasure is good for you!

Dress Code: Wear whatever you feel comfortable in – trackie dacks, jocks or geared up.

Cloak: Free DIY cloak facilities are provided.

All proceeds will be donated to Transgender Victoria and Rainbow Railroad.
