It’s time to add some new Eaglets to our incredible LGBTQIA+ Eagle Leather family.

We’re looking for two sales superstars and customer service powerhouses to join us in a part-time capacity (12-20 hours approx) at our rapidly evolving business.

What are we looking for?

• Available for evening and weekend shifts

Our demographic is 90% male-identifying and 80% gay-identifying, so you must be comfortable working in this type of environment.

Working at Eagle Leather is far from a typical adult shop job; it’s a high-energy environment with stock arriving almost daily from 60 global suppliers, photoshoots, workshops, rubber polishing, online store management, social media, event sponsorships, and strong community involvement. Eagle Leather is a huge proponent of community engagement. If you’re involved in kink and queer communities and have an interest in sex, sexuality, and BDSM (especially the products we sell), these attributes will be strongly favored.

With 133 5-Star Google reviews, customer service is paramount. This role includes cash/sales handling, merchandising, stock management, refilling, and opening and closing procedures. The store operates 7 days a week, often closing at 10 pm, so evening and weekend availability is required.

Eagle Leather is a small business with a big heart. Our formidable team is led by our owners, BJ and Pepper, and includes our E-Commerce Manager Joel, Sales Assistants Haydan and Kevin, and Marketing Coordinator Jono.

We’ve earned accolades over the years, including "Australia's Best Independent Adult Store" and "Australia's Best Adult Sex Education Program" at the EROS Association Shine Awards, and the “Excellence in LGBTQI+ Small Business” award at the GLOBE Awards in 2020. We believe in giving back to our community, supporting numerous local and global charities and initiatives, and welcoming everyone who enters our store, regardless of gender, sexuality, body type, age, race, or religion.

While we stay out of local scene politics, we welcome all dogs in-store — regardless of breed — and love when customers bring them by to say hello!

We haven’t advertised for a sales position in three years (and last time, we received over 50 applications!). This is a unique opportunity, and we aim to hire the best fit for our team based on skills and attitude.
