Introducing HAPPY TAILS!

Since 1997, artisan designer, braider and founder of Happy Tails Lezlie has been crafting divine floggers from a range of hides including elk, bison, bullhide, roo, and moose! With a 24 year history of hard work, experience and dedication to quality and design innovation, Happy Tails are regarded as the go-to flogger company when you want the best that money can buy. You'll be proud to own and use these floggers in any dungeon or play party.

Lezlie's mission is to bring back her floggers as the Standard of Perfection worldwide. Happy Tails is very personal to Lezlie, not just a business.

"I founded Happy Tails in the mountains of Northern California and came of age in the San Francisco scene in 1997. Built upon a commitment to using innovative design and revolutionary construction methods, Happy Tails became the leading, high quality, professional maker of floggers and whips world-wide by early 1998.

Perfect clicker-cut tails from every kind of hide, the first to import and use kangaroo lace for handles, introducing a variety of classic and new handle patterns, with a unique style that suits every taste and preference.

Immersed in a variety of fine arts and handcrafts since childhood, I draw on these multi-ethnic and mixed-media artistic traditions from around the world - skills honed by participation in national and international artisan groups and associations, competitions for excellence in other media - and 29 years of pioneer, small-farm life-skills, made Happy Tails possible.

All of this goes through my hands into every single item I've made and designed. It takes a certain kind of temperament, incredible patience, and hundreds of hours of practice to be able to plait fancy handles and do the complex pineapple knots... Just one knot takes about 6 continuous feet of leather lace to weave, a three-pass pineapple knot up to 15 feet! Many plaiters develop extremely strong hand, finger, and forearm muscles from the long hours of daily gripping and pulling. Few can do it in their spare time, and even fewer can do it for a living.

I know I was put on this earth to make my floggers and bring happiness to people through my work. And it has to be ethical, spiritually relevant, and fulfilling. So, that's what I've been doing; I'm trying to bring everything together into a comprehensive healing whole. I only work on floggers when I can instill good energy into them, because that's important. I love my customers, and only want the best for them. I don't think any other floggermaker cares as much as I do about what goes into my products."

At the centre of Happy Tails' philosophy is ethical production: they respect the earth, animals, and people. Happy Tails only buy hides from countries that prohibit animal abuse and cruelty, human rights abuse, and protect the environment. Made from a wide variety of hides, you'll easily find the right one for your needs. Whether you're a novice to the scene looking for your first flogger, or already have a collection, our new range is sure to include something you'll want! You best believe we're already Afterpaying a few of these ourselves!

We're absolutely honoured and delighted to have floggers of such quality and precision gracing our shelves at Eagle Leather. We can't wait to share these works of art with you.

ELK FLOGGERS

A must have for any flogger enthusiast's toybag!

Supple, squishy Elk is the most popular hide for floggers due to it's soft, lightweight tails. Elk offers a deliciously light warm up or warm down piece for your kit and is also perfect for flogging sensitive areas.

Elk is all thud with little to no sting, and is probably the most important flogger to have in your kit bag. Versatile, velvety elk can go from gently soft and sensuous to more serious thud, depending on the way it is handled. It is lighter in weight than bison, bullhide, or heavy bullhide.

BISON FLOGGERS

Somewhere in between elk and bullhide, in terms of intensity and weight, are the supple tails of garment bison floggers - an ideal warm up to mid session flogger. This is the garment weight version of bison, it's tails are thinner than our bullhide floggers. Garment bison is a wonderful step up from elk, before you reach for the bullhide at the peak of your session. Not every play partner likes a sensation as intense as bullhide, so bison, with it's softer tails and less sting is a great alternative.

Happy Tails bison hides are chosen for their beautiful grain pattern, without blemishes, wonderful hand and drape, and the dyes are totally struck through them.

BULLHIDE FLOGGERS

A vital addition to your kit! Thick and supple bullhide is a famous leather for floggers and an eternally popular choice.

A step up from Elk, Bullhide carries an incredible amount of thud, making this flogger perfect warm up for some, and an ideal mid-session flogger for others. This flogger is a slight step down in intensity and sting from the heavy bullhide floggers we also stock.

HEAVY BULLHIDE FLOGGERS

This particular bullhide is very heavy, carries the expected weight of bullhide, and has more bite than our range of bison or elk floggers. This flogger is a step up in intensity from the regular bullhide floggers we also stock. It's a good mid- to peak- session flogger, as it carries a whole lot of thud and is backed up with a bit of sting too. This particular heavy bullhide is ideal for experienced bottoms.

ELK MOP FLOGGER

Supple, squishy Elk is the most popular hide for floggers due to it's soft, lightweight tails - and this stunning crafted Mop Flogger is our team's all time favourite from the Happy Tails range.

With 60-70 16" tails, the Elk Mop Flogger is the perfect toy to get up close and intimate with your partner. Ideal for carrying out maximum thud in smaller spaces due to the shorter tail length and massive amount of tails. Mops can be used throughout a scene, but are especially perfect for mid scene and warm down. Velvety Elk mops offer a dense, thuddy impact with little to no sting. This is one of Happy Tails' signature pieces, and will be the envy of all in it's pride of place in your toybag. A true beauty to behold.

Happy Tails Mops and Bashers are always finished with 3 pass pineapple knots around the tails, due to their size. No other artisan flogger makers adorn their floggers with such complex knots, really elevating these stunning toys to a new level.

BISON BASHER FLOGGER

The most popular of all Happy Tails floggers, the Bison Basher is a work of art!

A cousin of the Elk Mop, the Bison Basher features longer tails and a bit more weight in handling. Happy Tails Mops and Bashers are always finished with 3 pass pineapple knots around the tails, due to their size. No other artisan flogger makers adorn their floggers with such complex knots, really elevating these stunning toys to a new level.

Bashers are almost always best used after endorphins are flowing and the skin is warmed up and ready for heavier, thuddier impact. Bashers can be thrown in a variety of ways and stances to add versatility. Garment Bison Bashers are second to none, with the length of tails creating additional impact that is sure to knock your bottom's socks off!
